Onduru Mary was born on 10th August 1962 in Arua Marracha and she has been living in the Acholi Quarter for almost 22 years. Her husband died with HIV and she is now alone taking care of her 5 kids by herself. Only one of them, Amina, who is 17 years old, is sponsored by 22 Stars.
Mary migrated from Sudan to Kampala because of the LRA conflict and besides making jewelry she
works in the stone quarry. She has also been participating in the entrepreneurship program for her stone quarry business.
Her life has been impacted by this program as has managed to save money and already built a small house for herself.
