Adong Neckolina was born on 1st May 1978 in Lapono Agago and she has been living in the Acholi quarters for 15 years. In her village many people were killed by the LRA but she was able to save her life and escape to Kampala with her family, where they stayed for three months in a refugee camp and received counseling on how to overcome the fear and be strong and positive. For this reason she now believes that anyone can get out of  bad situations.
Neckolina is living with her husband and she is taking care of her 11 kids, four of which are sponsored by 22STARS. Thanks to the jewelry program she was able to provide food and clothes for her family and rent a little house. She dreams of having a better home and a better future for her children.
