Alum Kevin was born on 1st January 1968 in Kitgum Lagoro and she has been living in Acholi Quarter for 25 years. Her husband died of HIV and she escaped from the LRA conflict after her mother was killed. All of her brothers and sisters were tortured and they are mentally traumatized because of that, whereas she is still trying to overcome the pain.
She is HIV positive and she struggles to save money to take care of her disease. She currently makes jewelry and also participates in the business program  for extracting and sending oil to the villages. Thanks to the 22STARS jewelry program she has managed to save money to buy food and school material for her kids.
