Atim Alice was born on 14th April 1974 in Gulu and she has been living in the Acholi quarter for 11 years. She is a widow as her husband died of heart failure.
She is the mother of Melissa, the only graduated girl among 22 stars sponsored kids. Alice is working in a factory besides being part of the 22 stars jewelry program. Thanks to her income she was able to provide school materials and transportation fees to her daughter until she completed the school. Now she dreams of building her own house as well as having a big grocery shop to be able to leave the factory, as she is currently not well paid.
She is also in the 22 stars business program, for selling sweet potatoes and charcoal.
