Stella is the founder of the Netherlands based company 22STARS, which is primarily focusing on creating beautiful jewellery. The jewellery is handmade from 100% recycled paper in a socially responsible manner by women in Uganda.

Following in the footsteps of her parents Stella leads a very active life and has travelled and lived all over the world. During her travels she was regularly confronted with poverty and injustice. For that reason she studied Dutch Law (LL.M in Public International law) and did an Advanced Master in Human Rights and Democratization. Stella wrote her thesis about child soldiers in Uganda and that is how her love for the people of this country started. Her creativity and wish to help the war affected people have been a direct incentive to establish 22STARS.

Stella is convinced that the best way to help people out of poverty is by making sure that they can provide for themselves. Impressed by the artistic skills of some of the women she met in Uganda she decided to help them design, market and sell their products. Her drive is a passion for fashion, a mind for business and a heart for the world!

Besides having fun with her friends Stella also loves writing, painting, shooting, diving, running, skiing, surfing, watching clouds and of course sleeping under the stars. 22STARS is seeking reliable, creative and inspiring partners who like to help developing a new collection, want to sell 22STARS jewellery in their store, and/or are willing to share their experience related to marketing and business development. About Blown Away Fest

Op zaterdag 16 november breekt Blown Away Fest 2013 het vastgeroeste slot van de Onderzeebootloods in het ruige en inspirerende Rotterdamse Havengebied open. De drie nog onontdekte loodsen van deze voormalige industriële werkplaats vormen maar liefst 12 uur lang het decor van het Advanced Culture Fest dat met meer dan 250 artiesten een clash brengt van techno, klassiek, art en food. De 100 allerlaatste tickets (inclusief boot transport) zijn nu in de verkoop.

This is where analogue meets digital. Where traditional meets new. Where the established meet the unpolished. This is Blown Away Fest 2013.

Een van de hoogtepunten van Blown Away Fest wordt de intense samensmelting van het full-size Rotterdams Philharmonisch Orkest en ongepolijste elektronische helden als: Secret Cinema, Eelke Kleijn, Egbert en Stimming.

Daarnaast brengen meer dan 100 creatieve partijen – Eye, Kunsthal, ARTtube en Ted Langenbach – explosies in de vorm van perfomance art, visuals, levende decorstukken, installaties en live soundscapes. Het roestige containerpark dat op Blown Away verrijst vormt het creatieve hart van het festival. Zestien gestripte zeecontainers worden omgedoopt tot mini-stages: de PKHS Silent disco, surrealistische kunstinstallaties van de Willem de Kooning academie, een workshop lifesize inflatables and many more. Guerilla cooks en creatieve keukens op wielen serveren het gehele festival fair future food.

Het bootransport naar de Onderzeebootloods wordt omgetoverd tot een drijvende stage waar de rouwdouwers van Venour en theatercollectief Macabre een 20 minuten lang durende boatrave brengen vol absurditeiten.
