Sand, sand and more sand in Jericoacoara in Brasil
Sand in my hair.
Sand in my eyes.
Sand in my nose.
Sand under my shirt
And sand under my skirt… ????????
I am already 10 days in this little isolated beach village called Jericoacoara. To reach it you have to drive the last 45 minutes ‘on sand’ among the dunes and along the beach. All streets in Jeri are covered by sand that go even into the stores and restaurants. Since 1998 they have electricity and it got bit more touristy, but illumination of the streets is forbidden by local law, so street lights are still provided by the moon and the stars. And sleeping under them on the beach is just the best!
